The Makita HR2661 1″ AVT® Rotary Hammer with HEPA Dust Extractor is a versatile 3-in-1 rotary hammer designed for efficient drilling, chipping, and dust extraction with reduced vibration.

It incorporates Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT®), featuring an internal counterbalance system that significantly reduces vibration, ensuring operator comfort during use.

This rotary hammer includes a built-in dust extractor that captures concrete dust during drilling, enhancing job site cleanliness.

The 8 AMP motor delivers 2.2 Joules (1.6 ft.lbs.) of impact energy, making it suitable for demanding applications in concrete, wood, and metal.

It offers 3-mode operation: “rotation only,” “hammering with rotation,” or “chipping only” to accommodate various applications.

The ergonomic D-shaped handle with a rubberized soft grip provides operator comfort, and a retractable tool hook secures the tool when not in use.

The dust extractor is equipped with an efficient HEPA filtration system, capturing 99.97% of particulates measuring 0.3 microns and larger.

A transparent dust container with a level indicator enhances convenience by indicating when it needs to be emptied.
The depth stop adjustment allows drilling up to 7-1/2″ deep, increasing drilling capacity.

A torque limiting clutch prevents gear damage by automatically disengaging gears if the bit binds.

With 40-bit angle settings, the bit can be positioned for different operating preferences.
